About Us
What is After the Deadline?
After the Deadline is a software service that:
- Corrects spelling with 90% accuracy
- Checks 1,500 words for misuse
- Finds grammar errors
- Improves writing style
We are bringing our technology to web applications through open source WYSIWYG editor plugins that communicate with our software service.
We currently support WordPress and TinyMCE.
Our vision is to see After the Deadline in webmail, blogging platforms, mailing list software, content management systems, and web office suites.
What we need
We want to get developers excited about our technology. Our goal is to support as many platforms as possible but we can't do it alone. We have a developer resource page and we're willing to work with developers who approach us.
Things to Look At
We have a feature overview you may find useful. We also ran the infamous spellchecker poem through Firefox, MS Word, and After the Deadline.

Founded in 2008, Dashnine Media helps people communicate better on the web. Dashnine's flagship product is After the Deadline--spelling, style, and grammar checking for web applications. Dashnine Media also operates a website usability testing service, Feedback Army.
Raphael Mudge, Founder
I used to work as a security researcher while serving in the US Air Force. I've always loved writing software and invented the Sleep programming language and the IRC client jIRCii. After leaving the Air Force I finished an MSc from Syracuse University and through Dashnine I'm working to help people communicate better.
